The colloquium is organized under the auspices of
The National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF)
and will be held at the auditorium of NHRF, in Athens
on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, from 9:00 A.M. to 13:00 P.M.


Biotechnology has made significant progress to date and promises to continue offering humanity novel therapeutic strategies by translating interesting scientific concepts into clinically relevant approaches. Starting and nurturing a biotechnology venture, however, is an intricate and complex endeavor that depends on many different factors.

A panel of experts will address questions central to the successful start of a biotechnology company particularly as in relation to the strategic choices that a company often needs to make in the very beginning of its existence.
